Registration/Re-registration

It is the student's responsibility to register by the course registration deadline and ensure that all prerequisite requirements are fulfilled. If a student registers in a course that s/he is not eligible to take, the registration will be cancelled and the tuition fee refunded. The tuition will not be applied to an alternative course. Please note that course registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis with first consideration given to our program status students. Non-program students will be registered in courses, space permitting

NOTE: Grouped Study Online registration services are only available during the following dates (see Academic Schedule)

February 15 – April 1 (Spring Session 2016)
June 23 – August 4 (Fall Session 2016)
October 15 – November 15 (Winter Session 2017)

Individualized online courses begin on the first day of every month.

For MSc IS Students:

Students must contact the MScIS Administrative Assistant and Program Advisor prior to registration in COMP 696, 697-699, and 676-680. *All materials for program and non-program student registration (including the application form and fees for non-program students) must be completed in full and received one month prior to the course start date. For example, August 1st deadline for September 1st start date.

Re-registration

Students may re-register in a course only if they have received more than one final grade of B- or lower in a core or foundation course or more than one final grade of C+ or lower in an elective course, or if they have withdrawn from the course in good standing. Students are permitted only one re-registration in each course. Both the initial registration and the re-registration will appear on the student's academic record. In re-registering, students must complete all course requirements.
